The Magic Button ("we", "us") is a developer tool that detects, patches, and verifies UEFN Verse code. This page explains what we collect, why, and what stays on your machine.
By default, The Magic Button repairs your Verse code using a local rule engine that runs on our server without calling any third-party AI provider — it's never used for training and never sent to a third party unless you choose to.
We do keep a copy of your before/after code in your Fix History, so the automatic-backup and 1-click-rollback features work — that's stored on our server until you delete it or your account. It is not used for training and is not shared with third parties.
If you choose to connect your own OpenAI or Gemini API key in Settings, the code is also sent directly to that provider using your key, under their terms — not ours. We don't proxy or log that traffic ourselves.
We use your browser's local storage to remember your session, language, and theme preference. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded (and the email you paid with) so we can activate your plan — we never receive or store your card details.
Account and usage records are kept for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for billing and support records. You can request deletion at any time — see section 7.
Only the service providers required to run The Magic Button: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and, only if you opt in with your own key, your chosen AI provider. We don't sell your data.
You can ask us to access, export, or delete your account data at any time by emailing uguryelkarasi@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
The Magic Button isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify signed-in users.
